SIM is Paper…

And since it is, we've constructed plenty of fun from it over the years — like these playful origami sculptures from our first NeoCon exhibit (left). We're also always on the the lookout for other paper enthusiasts. Last month we blogged about Carrie Walker's chandelier. Now we'd like to introduce Val Britton, a visual artist in San Francisco. Her paper constructions explore ideas of pscyhic and physical geography, creating large scale visuals that suggest camouflage, damask patterns and maps. Her work goes on exhibit today at Mina Dresden.

Our blog is mostly about sustainable design in the interiors industry,
especially carpet. Sometimes it's just about us. Updated when we've got something good to say.
