Greenbuild or Bust

We’re off to Greenbuild, where we’ll be watching for good ways that other companies are rethinking waste in the design process. Here’s a teaser… last week one of our clients, Mannington, announced a great idea in their resilient tile division. They have developed a process that allows them to replace a portion of limestone in their tile with gypsum from recycled post-consumer drywall (which usually goes to landfill) while maintaining high performance and aesthetics. If you’re in Denver then stop by their booth to ask about this program, or by the many booths in the expo hall to ask about eliminating unnecessary waste from design + manufacturing. Or, of course by the Interiors Networking Garden to say "hello". More to come in the coming week…

Our blog is mostly about sustainable design in the interiors industry,
especially carpet. Sometimes it's just about us. Updated when we've got something good to say.
