What do you know about Tricycle?

Do we have casual Friday? Do we make our employees dye their hair during Easter? We'd love to know what you know. Tell the world by updating our Wikipedia entry.

Our "anthology of the moment," Reverb, is featured in the this year's Step 100, showcased in the March 2007 issue of Step Inside Design. The book has been so well received that we're sold out and are exploring options to make it available as a digital download or a print on-demand book. Let us know which you think is better. Download the introduction here for free.

You know NBBJ, a global architecture and design firm with offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Columbus, New York, London, Beijing and Shanghai.
Well, turns out NBBJ knows Tricycle. One of their own - Lilian Asperin-Clymin, who visited our booth at NeoCon 06, recommended Tricycle for their "Start Something" Valentine, which features sustainability leaders worth loving. Also profiled are Amory Lovins, David Suzuki, Seattle's Dept of Planning and Development, and others....
To view the e-love, click here and then on the heart below "Jonathan Bragdon," Tricycle's intrepid President.

And since it is, we've constructed plenty of fun from it over the years — like these playful origami sculptures from our first NeoCon exhibit (left). We're also always on the the lookout for other paper enthusiasts. Last month we blogged about Carrie Walker's chandelier. Now we'd like to introduce Val Britton, a visual artist in San Francisco. Her paper constructions explore ideas of pscyhic and physical geography, creating large scale visuals that suggest camouflage, damask patterns and maps. Her work goes on exhibit today at Mina Dresden.
